CMRC•Q2 results and operating metrics
Commerce released prepared remarks for its Q2 2026 earnings call attended by CEO Travis Hess, CFO/COO Daniel Lentz, and SVP of Finance and Investor Relations Tyler Duncan.
Q2 revenue totaled $84.5 million; non-GAAP operating income reached $8.1 million; GMV rose 14% to $8.8 billion; and net revenue retention improved to 95.8%.
Management comments on market shifts and guidance
Management described a structural shift in commerce, citing softer B2C replatforming and delayed AI-driven monetization as discovery moves to AI search, agents, marketplaces, and retail media.
Full-year revenue guidance was cut to $336.5 million to $344.5 million; non-GAAP operating income was guided at $28 million to $34 million; and the midpoint revenue outlook was down $18 million.
The guidance reset was tied to partner ecosystem concentration, higher R&D, and AI-driven infrastructure costs. Gross margin fell to 75.7% on AI crawler traffic, while Payments GMV tracked 30% ahead of plan.
