Commvault posted fiscal Q1 results with subscription revenue up 16% year over year to $267 million; subscription ARR rose 22% to $1.05 billion.
Operating income was $26 million, for an 8.2% operating margin; free cash flow more than doubled, up 71% to $51 million.
Non-GAAP EBIT was $71 million, for a 22.8% margin; CEO Sanjay Mirchandani cited customer adoption of its AI-enabled platform for protection and clean recoveries.
