Commvault, TIME Launch CISO of the Year Award with ResOps Focus
Commvault and TIME have launched the inaugural CISO of the Year Award to honor enterprise security leaders demonstrating ResOps practices. Nominations open March 23–June 20, 2026, with finalists named in July and a winner announced in September alongside TIME’s Executives of the Year: Tech & Data list.

Commvault and TIME have teamed up to introduce the first CISO of the Year Award, spotlighting Chief Information Security Officers who are redefining cyber resilience by integrating Resilience Operations principles into enterprise security strategies.
2. Nomination Period and Timeline
Nominations for the award will be accepted from March 23 through June 20, 2026; a panel of industry experts will select finalists in July, and the winner will be revealed in September to coincide with TIME’s Executives of the Year: Tech & Data list.
3. Award Criteria Focused on ResOps
Nominees will be evaluated on criteria such as prioritizing business outcomes over technical defense, fostering collaboration across teams, proving resilience through continuous testing, designing for rapid recovery, and leveraging cyber resilience as a strategic advantage.
