Constellation Brands Q2 EPS rises 25% to 3.32; net sales climb 6% to 2.63 billion
STZ•Constellation Brands reported Q2 FY27 net sales of $2.63 billion, up 6% year over year, and diluted EPS of $3.32, up 25%. It updated its fiscal 2027 reported EPS outlook to $11.85-$12.55 and reaffirmed operating cash flow guidance of $2.4-$2.5 billion.
1. Quarterly results
Operating income fell 8% to $805 million, while net income attributable to Constellation Brands increased to $565.8 million. Beer net sales rose 5% to $2.47 billion, and Wine and Spirits net sales rose 17% to $159.4 million.
2. Outlook and returns
The company updated its fiscal 2027 reported EPS outlook to $11.85-$12.55 and reaffirmed operating cash flow of $2.4-$2.5 billion. Management said share gains accelerated in Beer and Wine & Spirits versus Q1, and the company returned more than $800 million through repurchases and dividends.
