Cooper Standard’s Juárez Plant Named One of Six Finalists in 2026 Best Plants Awards
CPS•Cooper Standard’s El Jarudo plant in Juárez, Mexico was named one of six finalists for the 2026 Best Plants Awards, highlighting its Lean, Six Sigma and digitization-driven productivity improvements. It was Cooper Standard’s 2025 Fluid Handling Plant of the Year and has earned a Diamond Plant designation for three years.

The El Jarudo manufacturing facility in Juárez, Mexico was selected as one of six finalists for the 2026 Best Plants Awards, an annual program that honors leading-edge manufacturing operations. The recognition underscores the plant’s world-class practices in competitiveness, customer satisfaction and workplace engagement.
2. Plant Performance and Operations
Since opening in 1994, the El Jarudo plant has produced stainless steel fuel rails, cooling hoses and air lines for major automakers, driving continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and digitization. The facility earned 2025 Fluid Handling Plant of the Year honors and holds a Diamond Plant designation for three consecutive years.
