Corteva Names Greg Page Chair of Nine-Person Board for Q4 2026 Spin-Off
CTVA•Corteva has announced the nine-person board for its standalone crop protection company, led by independent Chair Greg Page and featuring future CEO Luke Kissam. The planned separation remains on schedule for the fourth quarter of 2026, positioning the business to run an asset-light model and invest in differentiated, nature-inspired technologies.
1. Board Composition Announced
Corteva's standalone crop protection unit will be governed by a nine-member board chaired by Greg Page, former Cargill CEO. The board includes future CEO Luke Kissam alongside industry veterans Klaus Engel, David Everitt, Patrick Ward and leaders such as Jean-Marc Gilson and Nayaki Nayyar.
2. Separation Timeline and Structure
The separation of the crop protection division is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026, establishing a publicly traded, asset-light company. Apart from four existing directors, seven members will transition or join at spin-off to ensure continuity and industry expertise.
3. Strategic and Operational Focus
The new entity will focus on operational efficiency and an innovation-driven pipeline, making targeted investments in nature-inspired technologies to deliver differentiated crop protection solutions. The asset-light model aims to leverage first-mover advantage in emerging markets and drive attractive returns.
