CoStar named Robin Rossmann chief financial officer effective July 31, 2026, succeeding Christian Lown, who is stepping down to pursue an opportunity outside the industry.
Rossmann will lead global finance, covering financial and operating performance, capital allocation, financial planning, and investor engagement as the company targets margin expansion.
Rossmann’s background at STR and CoStar
He is managing director for Europe, where he cut the region’s cost base by about $51 million, or 25%, while delivering double-digit revenue growth.
Rossmann joined STR in 2016, ran businesses across EMEA, Asia Pacific, and Latin America, then joined CoStar via the 2019 acquisition of STR.
