The healthcare-specific AI credentials launched in October attracted over 3,400 enrollments within the first week and now extend to students, alumni and professionals across nursing, medicine and additional disciplines.
1. AI-Powered Classroom Development
Covista is developing an AI-powered classroom integrated within Canvas, embedding a precision learning experience that adapts to individual student needs based on actual course materials. The system will offer visual, audio and interactive modules that refine learning pathways over time, with a pilot planned later this year across all five institutions.
2. Enrollment Surge in AI Credentials
Since October, Covista’s healthcare-specific AI credentials have enrolled over 3,400 learners within the first week, covering nursing, medicine and foundational AI topics. Additional certificates focusing on veterinary medicine and mental health are scheduled for launch this summer, and credentials are accessible to both current students and alumni through flexible coursework designed for working clinicians.
3. Partnership with Google Cloud
In collaboration with Google Cloud, Covista is integrating LearnLM, Gemini and NotebookLM into a unified student experience to scale personalized learning at scale. This partnership embeds advanced AI infrastructure directly into the educational platform, aiming to prepare a workforce proficient in AI-enabled healthcare tools.
