Board chair transition at CPKC

CPKC said board chair Isabelle Courville retired, ending a tenure that began with her board appointment on May 1, 2013.

Vice-chair Gordon Trafton took over as board chair, effective immediately.

Trafton joined the board on Jan. 1, 2017; he was named vice-chair on Jan. 28, 2026.

He retired in 2010 from Canadian National following a 33-year rail career, including senior vice-president roles in strategic acquisitions and integration.
