CSL enters global lixudebart partnership with Alentis, pays US$355 million upfront
CSL•CSL entered an exclusive global collaboration with Alentis Therapeutics to co-develop and co-promote lixudebart for rare kidney and liver diseases. CSL will pay US$355 million upfront, with up to US$1.2 billion in commercial milestones and global profits split 55% to CSL and 45% to Alentis.

CSL entered an exclusive global collaboration with Alentis Therapeutics to co-develop and co-promote lixudebart for rare kidney and liver diseases. The deal includes a US$355 million upfront payment, up to US$1.2 billion in commercial milestones and a 55%-45% split of global profits in CSL’s favor.
2. Clinical development
CSL will fund completion of the Phase 2 RENAL trial, a planned Phase 3 trial in AAV-RPGN and additional Phase 2 studies in FSGS and PSC. Lixudebart targets claudin-1 and is positioned as a potential first-in-class therapy with anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrotic effects across organ fibrosis indications.
