Curated Capital said any interest rate increase this week was expected to be the cycle’s last, contrasting with market expectations of rates at 4.75% in 2028. It said a Gulf peace settlement could speed inflation declines and rate cuts, while stronger growth could bring the current budget into surplus by fiscal 2028-29, helped by revenue gains from frozen tax allowances.
