Curis Launches 11-Site CLL Trial and Secures Approval for 1-for-5 to 1-for-25 Reverse Split
CRIS•Curis opened enrollment at 11 sites for its Phase II TakeAim CLL trial of emavusertib plus zanubrutinib, plans to dose five patients by end-July and expects data in December. Shareholders approved a 1-for-5 to 1-for-25 reverse split, with the board to set the ratio and date to restore Nasdaq compliance.
1. Phase II TakeAim CLL Trial Initiation
Curis has initiated enrollment at 11 clinical sites for its Phase II TakeAim CLL trial, testing the oral inhibitor emavusertib in combination with zanubrutinib. The open-label study targets dual NF-κB inhibition in patients with partial response or partial response with lymphocytosis, measurable residual disease positivity and at least 12 months on zanubrutinib.
2. Patient Dosing and Data Timeline
The company plans to dose the first five participants by the end of July 2026 and anticipates reporting interim study data in December 2026. These milestones are critical for assessing safety and preliminary efficacy ahead of potential registration discussions.
3. Reverse Stock Split Approval
At its special meeting, Curis shareholders approved an amendment allowing a reverse stock split between ratios of 1-for-5 and 1-for-25. The board will determine the final ratio and effective date to regain compliance with Nasdaq Capital Market listing requirements.
