NovaBridge Biosciences Names Srishti Gupta CEO to Advance Givastomig and VIS-101
NBP•NovaBridge Biosciences has named Srishti Gupta, MD, MPP as CEO effective July 1, 2026, succeeding Xi-Yong Fu who will remain as advisor during the transition. Gupta, with over two decades of global biopharma leadership, will prioritize advancing givastomig toward registration and expanding the VIS-101 ophthalmology franchise via strategic partnerships.
1. Executive Appointment
NovaBridge Biosciences announced on June 29 that Dr. Srishti Gupta will become CEO effective July 1, 2026, succeeding Xi-Yong Fu, who will continue as an advisor during the transition.
2. CEO Background
Dr. Gupta brings over twenty years of leadership in biopharmaceuticals, including serving as CEO of Idorsia Ltd where she executed an operational and financial turnaround, and leading McKinsey’s Global Health Practice for more than a decade.
3. Strategic Priorities
As CEO, Gupta will focus on advancing givastomig, a Claudin 18.2-targeted immuno amplifier in global Phase 2 studies for gastric cancer, toward regulatory registration and expanding VIS-101, a dual VEGF-A/ANG-2 inhibitor in ophthalmology, through strategic collaborations.
4. Transition Plan
The board expects Gupta’s global commercial expertise and partnership track record to accelerate NovaBridge’s clinical development and maximize the value of its pipeline, while Fu supports key initiatives until the leadership transition completes.
