Cypherpunk names Kevin Zhang head of mining

Cypherpunk Technologies appointed mining industry veteran Kevin Zhang as head of mining alongside the launch of its Zcash mining unit.

Zhang began mining Bitcoin in 2014, started mining Zcash in 2016, and built major North American Bitcoin mining facilities.

He led a 2019 power plant conversion to Bitcoin mining, then built Foundry’s largest Bitcoin mining pool and a large mining operation.
