Cytokinetics launches ASPEN-HCM real-world study of MYQORZO
CYTK•Cytokinetics launched a prospective study tracking MYQORZO in adults with symptomatic obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, targeting about 400 patients at 13 sites over 12 to 36 months.
1. Study to track outcomes
ASPEN-HCM will assess MYQORZO’s safety, symptoms, functional status, treatment persistence, patient-reported experience, healthcare utilization and cardiac remodeling in routine clinical practice; no results have been presented. The drug carries a boxed warning for heart failure risk, requires echocardiogram monitoring and is distributed through a restricted REMS program.
