Valion Bio, Shear Kershman Labs partner to develop oral mucosal Entolimod formulation
VBIO•Valion Bio and Shear Kershman Laboratories completed formulation work on an oral mucosal version of Entolimod using BioViscid. A study will assess systemic exposure; Valion estimates a successful needle-free product could expand potential U.S. dosing needs by roughly 10 to 40 times versus injectable deployment.

Valion Bio partnered with Shear Kershman Laboratories to develop an oral mucosal formulation of Entolimod using BioViscid, completing formulation work and creating a needle-free delivery pathway alongside Valion’s injectable program for radiation exposure. The next study will assess whether oral mucosal dosing produces measurable systemic exposure and inform pharmacokinetics and further development.
