CytoSorbents Q2 FY26 operating loss narrows 27% to $2.6 million; revenue rises 0.2% to $9.6 million

CytoSorbents posted a GAAP net loss of $4.42 million for Q2, swinging from net income of $1.95 million a year earlier.
Revenue was $9.63 million, up 0.2% year over year; gross margin rose 2.3 percentage points to 73.2%.
Operating loss narrowed 27% to $2.64 million, while operating cash burn fell to $0.4 million from $1.4 million a year earlier.
The company expects operating cash flow break-even in the second half of 2026 and targets a new DrugSorb-ATR De Novo submission in early 2027.

DrugSorb-ATR STAR-T pivotal trial results were published in the Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, concluding ticagrelor removal was safe and reduced bleeding severity.
