SPY•The Dallas Fed’s Texas service sector survey showed September revenue at -0.9, down 7.5 points from August, while employment rose to 4.1 from 0.8.

The Dallas Federal Reserve Bank’s monthly survey showed revenue at -0.9 in September, compared with 6.6 in August. Employment was 4.1, up from 0.8, and input prices rose to 42.1 from 35.6.
2. Six-month outlook
Respondents’ six-month-ahead revenue index was 38.2, up from 35.9, while the employment index rose to 27.7 from 19.3. The outlook for general business activity fell to 10.7 from 18.6.
