Dassault Aviation boosts 2025 net sales guidance above €7 billion after strong Rafale deliveries
Dassault delivered 26 Rafale jets in 2025 (15 export, 11 France) versus 21 in 2024, and 37 Falcons versus guidance of 40 after 31 in 2024. The company booked 26 export Rafale and 31 Falcon orders and raised 2025 net sales guidance to over €7 billion.
1. 2025 Aircraft Deliveries Exceed Guidance
Dassault Aviation delivered a total of 26 Rafale fighter jets in 2025—15 to export customers and 11 to the French armed forces—surpassing its guidance of 25 units and up from 21 deliveries in 2024. On the civil business jet side, the company handed over 37 Falcon jets versus a target of 40, marking a 19% increase from the 31 units delivered in the prior year. These delivery figures underscore improved production efficiencies and strong demand across both military and business aviation segments.
2. Order Intake Reflects Shifting Demand
In 2025, Dassault Aviation secured orders for 26 export Rafale jets, slightly below the 30 export orders recorded in 2024, while Falcon business jet orders rose to 31 units from 26 a year earlier. The increase in Falcon orders demonstrates resilience in the high-end business jet market, buoyed by favourable global corporate travel trends, even as military procurement cycles moderated compared with the previous year.
3. Backlog Remains Robust
As of December 31, 2025, Dassault’s backlog comprised 220 Rafale jets—175 for export and 45 for France—unchanged in total volume from the prior year but reflecting a shift toward higher export allocations (up from 164 export and 56 domestic in 2024). The Falcon backlog stood at 73 jets, down from 79 at the end of 2024. The sustained order book supports multi-year revenue visibility and underscores long-term customer commitments across both business and defence divisions.
4. Upgraded Net Sales Guidance
Dassault Aviation has raised its 2025 net sales guidance to exceed €7.0 billion, up from €6.2 billion reported in 2024. This upward revision is driven by higher military jet deliveries and firm pricing on Falcon business jets. Full audited annual results, including precise net sales, order intake and backlog values in euros, will be published on March 4, 2026.
