Paramount Skydance completed its $110 billion takeover of Warner Bros Discovery, with CEO David Ellison taking control of the entertainment company. Energy Transfer agreed to acquire Vaquero Midstream for about $2.6 billion in cash and stock, while Uber said it would buy catering platform ezCater for $2.3 billion in cash.
2. Other deal news
McKesson and Clayton Dubilier & Rice agreed to take Option Care Health private in a deal worth about $5.8 billion including debt. Informa said it would buy Clarion for £2.24 billion and separate its Taylor & Francis academic publishing arm; Emera agreed to buy Canadian Utilities for C$14.3 billion in stock.
