Grant Thornton Advisors will buy CBIZ for $5 billion in cash, the companies said, creating one of the largest accounting services providers in the U.S.

Processa Pharmaceuticals said it acquired privately held Vidya Therapeutics in an all-stock deal, gaining access to its lead candidate being developed to target diseases involving the immune system.

German drug packaging firm Gerresheimer said it was selling two plastic packaging units, including the U.S. business Centor, to private equity group Apax Funds for €1.5 billion ($1.71 billion) including debt.

Sembcorp Utilities, a unit of Singapore-listed Sembcorp Industries, said that it will purchase a 20% equity stake in Aster Power, deepening its energy partnership with Aster Chemicals and Energy.
