Delcath HEPZATO Sequences PHP with Tebentafusp and Combines with Nivolumab/Relatlimab in Melanoma Trials
DCTH•Delcath Systems published two ASCO investigator-initiated abstracts investigating its HEPZATO percutaneous hepatic perfusion with melphalan: a Phase 2 trial sequencing PHP with tebentafusp in HLA-A*02:01 positive metastatic uveal melanoma opened November 2025 and a Phase 1b/2 combo with nivolumab/relatlimab began January 2026. Both appear as posters.
1. ASCO Abstracts Publication
Delcath Systems published two investigator-initiated trial-in-progress abstracts to be presented at the ASCO Annual Meeting examining its HEPZATO percutaneous hepatic perfusion with melphalan.
2. Phase 2 Trial in Uveal Melanoma
The Phase 2 sequential trial (Abstract TPS9605) opened enrollment in November 2025 and will evaluate progression-free survival, safety, objective response, overall survival and biomarker analyses in HLA-A*02:01 positive metastatic uveal melanoma patients using HEPZATO followed by tebentafusp.
3. Phase 1b/2 Trial in Non-Uveal Melanoma
The Phase 1b/2 study (Abstract TPS9600), initiated January 2026, will assess safety, tolerability and preliminary efficacy of HEPZATO combined with nivolumab and relatlimab in first-line treatment of metastatic melanoma with liver metastases, with secondary endpoints including disease control rate, duration of response and tumor reduction.
4. Clinical Outlook
These abstracts underscore ongoing clinical interest in combining liver-directed PHP with modern systemic therapies to improve outcomes in challenging metastatic melanoma settings and support future data generation on safety and efficacy.
