The company will supply hardware for two University of Cambridge AI supercomputers under AMD’s £2 billion UK AI infrastructure investment over five years.

Dell’s AI-focused server division outperformed peers with revenue 15% above analysts’ estimates and non-GAAP EPS beating by $0.12. Strength in large-scale AI deployments drove the uplift, reflecting robust orders and improved gross margins in the quarter.
2. Partnership on UK AI Supercomputers
Under AMD’s £2 billion UK AI infrastructure initiative, Dell will deliver server and storage hardware for the University of Cambridge’s Zenith and Sunrise supercomputers. The systems target scientific research in healthcare, climate modeling and fusion energy using AMD Instinct GPUs and EPYC processors integrated into Dell’s modular platforms.
