Delta Air Lines drops after slashing full-year profit forecast
DAL•Delta now expects 2026 adjusted profit of $5.10 to $5.60 per share, down from $6.50 to $7.50, and projects its annual fuel cost will rise by around $6 billion instead of $4 billion.

Delta Air Lines cut its 2026 adjusted profit forecast to $5.10 to $5.60 per share. The midpoint, $5.35, is below analysts’ $5.46 expectation; the airline also projected an annual fuel-cost rise of around $6 billion, compared with its earlier forecast of $4 billion.
