Delta Electronics earned double A List ratings in CDP’s 2025 climate change and water security assessments for the fifth time, joining fewer than 1% of over 22,000 companies. The firm cut Scope 1&2 emissions by 53.6% since 2021, reached 84% renewable electricity usage, and invested US$21 million to abate over 37,000 metric tons of carbon.

1. ReNew Energy Achieves A Rating in CDP Climate Change Assessment

ReNew Energy Global Plc secured an ‘A’ rating in CDP’s Climate Change assessment for FY 2024–25, advancing the company into CDP’s Global Leadership band for the first time. This rating reflects ReNew’s comprehensive emissions monitoring system, which covers all Scope 1 and Scope 2 sources across its 12 GW of renewable energy capacity. The firm reported a 27% reduction in greenhouse gas intensity compared to its FY 2021 baseline and has committed to achieving 100% renewable electricity use in all corporate offices and project sites by 2027. CDP’s evaluation—based on transparency, governance, risk management and performance metrics—places ReNew among the top 5% of energy producers worldwide, positioning it to attract ESG-focused capital from more than 640 institutional investors managing in excess of US$ 127 trillion.

2. Delta Earns Double A Leadership Rating from CDP for Fifth Consecutive Year

Delta Electronics has been awarded CDP’s double “A List” status for both Climate Change and Water Security in the 2025 assessments, a distinction achieved by fewer than 1% of the 22,000+ companies that disclose environmental data through CDP. The rating underscores Delta’s board-level oversight of sustainability, initiated in 2025, and its internal carbon pricing mechanism, which channeled US$ 21 million into projects reducing over 37,000 metric tons of CO₂ in 2024. The company also reported a 53.6% decrease in Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions since 2021 and an 84% global renewable electricity usage rate at operational sites. On water security, Delta’s 2024 Water Resource Policy drove a 30.7% reduction in water productivity intensity compared to a 2020 baseline—well ahead of its 10% reduction target for 2025. Delta has now held an A List rating for Water Security six years running and Leadership recognition for Climate Change ten times, reinforcing its status with CDP’s network of over 270 procurement organizations representing US$ 6.4 trillion in spending.
