Dianthus Therapeutics Q3 net loss widens as clinical spending rises; sees MMN data in December
DNTH•Dianthus Therapeutics reported a Q3 net loss of $46.64 million as clinical spending and headcount growth increased expenses. It ended the quarter with $1.2 billion in cash and expects Phase 2 MMN trial results in December 2026.
1. Quarterly results
Dianthus Therapeutics’ Q3 net loss widened year over year as research and development and general and administrative expenses rose. The company reported a $58.47 million operating loss and $59.68 million in operating expenses. Higher R&D costs reflected clinical spending and expanded headcount for development of claseprubart, DNTH212 and DNTH312; increased headcount also raised G&A expenses.
2. Cash and trial outlook
Interest and investment income rose to $12.1 million from $3.7 million, partly offsetting higher operating expenses. Dianthus ended Q3 with $1.2 billion in cash, which it said provides runway into 2030. The company expects top-line results from its Phase 2 MoMeNtum trial in MMN in December 2026, Phase 3 CAPTIVATE Part A results by year-end 2027 and Part B results by year-end 2028, and Phase 3 EMERGE results in gMG in the second half of 2028.
