Digi Power X Invests $35M in NVIDIA Vera Rubin for Q1 2027 GPU Deployment
DGXX•Digi Power X committed $35 million to purchase NVIDIA Vera Rubin systems (288 GB HBM4 GPUs, 88-core CPU) with initial deployment due Q1 2027. Phase 1 of its 15 MW Alabama AI data center is set for December 15 readiness; the company holds $150 million cash and NeoCloudz generated AI revenues in May.
1. $35M Vera Rubin Purchase Commitment
Digi Power X has committed $35 million to acquire NVIDIA’s next-generation Vera Rubin systems, pairing 288 GB HBM4 GPUs with an 88-core CPU over NVLink 6. The purchase will be funded from cash on hand and is targeted for initial deployment in Q1 2027, subject to NVIDIA’s production schedule.
2. AI Data Center Buildout Progress
The purpose-built AI campus in Alabama is advancing on schedule, with Phase 1 delivering 15 MW of IT load by December 15, 2026 and full 40 MW deployment by the end of Q1 2027. Key infrastructure is complete, including the on-site substation, grid interconnection, power delivery agreement and secured long-lead equipment.
3. Financial Position and Revenue Update
As of June 3, Digi Power X held approximately $150 million in cash and cash equivalents, having deployed $65 million into the Alabama site year-to-date. The NeoCloudz GPU-as-a-Service platform has been live since May 15, generating its first AI revenues in May, and project-level financing is being arranged for further expansion.
