Digital Realty’s NRT14 facility in Greater Tokyo earned NVIDIA DGX-Ready certification to host GB200 NVL72 liquid-cooled rigs powered by Grace Blackwell GPUs, handling over 100 kW per rack for AI workloads. The certification, via its MC Digital Realty JV with Mitsubishi, boosts energy efficiency by up to 25 times.

1. NVIDIA DGX-Ready Certification Achieved

Digital Realty’s upcoming NRT14 data center in the Greater Tokyo area has secured NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Center certification, making it one of Japan’s first facilities certified to host NVIDIA DGX GB200 infrastructure and GB200 NVL72 systems powered by Grace Blackwell GPUs.

2. High-Density Liquid Cooling Infrastructure

The liquid-cooled design supports high-density AI workloads exceeding 100 kW per rack and delivers up to 25 times greater energy efficiency compared with traditional air-cooled setups, enabling faster time-to-insight and lower operational costs for enterprise AI applications.

3. MC Digital Realty Joint Venture

Certification was achieved through MC Digital Realty, the 50/50 joint venture between Digital Realty and Mitsubishi Corporation, leveraging local expertise and investment to expand advanced data center services in Japan.

4. Strategic AI Expansion in Asia Pacific

This milestone strengthens Digital Realty’s AI-ready footprint across Asia Pacific, adding to its six certified sites in the region and reinforcing its role as a strategic infrastructure partner for organizations scaling next-generation, high-density AI workloads.
