Digital Realty partners with Blackfuel to deploy AI inference platform at Barcelona data center
DLR•Digital Realty partnered with Blackfuel to deploy its AI inference platform at Digital Realty’s BCN1 data center in Barcelona, using liquid-cooled Dell AI Factory infrastructure with AMD GPUs. Blackfuel plans to expand AI services beyond Barcelona using ServiceFabric’s footprint across more than 800 data centers.
1. Barcelona deployment
Digital Realty partnered with Blackfuel to deploy and scale Blackfuel’s AI inference platform at its BCN1 data center in Barcelona. The deployment uses liquid-cooled Dell AI Factory infrastructure with AMD GPUs, connected to Digital Realty’s ServiceFabric interconnection platform.
2. Expansion plans
The integration aims to provide inference over private connectivity closer to enterprise data, targeting lower latency and faster AI workflow completion. Blackfuel plans to use ServiceFabric’s footprint across more than 800 data centers to expand AI services beyond Barcelona.
