DoorDash Rolls Out SNAP Payments at 2,700 Kroger Stores with Fee Waiver

DoorDash is adding EBT and SNAP payment support to 2,700 Kroger stores, enabling millions of benefit recipients to order meat, produce and dairy online. The company will waive delivery fees on users’ first EBT purchase through June 15 and now supports more than 57,000 SNAP-enabled stores and 4.5 million cardholders.

1. Kroger Store Rollout

DoorDash is adding EBT and SNAP payment support to nearly 2,700 Kroger stores nationwide, including banners such as Mariano’s, Fred Meyer, Ralphs and Harris Teeter, enabling benefit recipients to order eligible grocery items through the DoorDash marketplace.

2. Delivery Fee Promotion

The company is offering a zero-percent delivery fee on users’ first EBT purchase at participating Kroger locations through June 15, incentivizing SNAP cardholders to try online grocery delivery.

3. Platform SNAP Adoption

By the end of the fourth quarter of 2025, DoorDash supported over 57,000 SNAP-enabled merchants and had 4.5 million customers with SNAP cards, while more than 42.1 million Americans used SNAP benefits monthly in fiscal 2025.
