Dubai’s DIFC Approves Ripple’s XRP and RLUSD, Bans Zcash and Monero
Dubai’s DIFC regulator formally recognized XRP as an approved token for licensed businesses in November 2023 and added RLUSD as one of only three permitted stablecoins in mid-January. At the same time the DIFC banned privacy coins Zcash and Monero for AML concerns, enhancing XRP’s appeal for institutional adoption.
