1. Revenue and margins rise
Ducommun reported third-quarter revenue of $227 million, up 6% year over year and above the $221.93 million analyst consensus. Adjusted EPS was $1.21, while gross margin rose 140 basis points year over year to a record 28.9%.
2. Growth drivers and targets
Higher sales in commercial aerospace, particularly large aircraft, business jets and rotary-wing platforms, led revenue growth. Higher manufacturing volume, facility consolidation synergies and strategic pricing contributed to margin improvement, partly offset by unfavorable product mix. The company targets annual revenue of $1.6 billion to $1.7 billion under its VISION 2032 plan and aims for a 23% adjusted EBITDA margin by 2032.
