Duke Energy Florida Advances $1.1B Storm Charge Removal, Cuts Bills by $44
Duke Energy Florida will remove its $1.1 billion storm cost recovery charge a month early, cutting residential customers’ bills by approximately $33 per 1,000 kWh in February. In March, seasonal rate adjustments will further reduce bills by about $11 per 1,000 kWh, totaling a $44 decrease compared to January.
