Duolingo falls after soft quarterly revenue outlook
DUOL•Q2 revenue and user growth top estimates
Q2 revenue rose 18% to $298.5 million, beating estimates of $295.6 million. The company also reported 58.7 million daily active users in Q2, versus Visible Alpha estimates of 57.5 million.
As of Wednesday's close, the stock had fallen 22.9% year to date.
Shares fall on weaker-than-expected Q3 revenue outlook
Language-learning platform Duolingo's DUOL.O shares fell 11.3% to $119.99 in extended trading after the company forecast third-quarter revenue of $302 million, versus analysts' average estimate of $304 million, according to data compiled by LSEG.
