EagleNXT is relocating its global headquarters from Wichita to Allen, Texas, and plans to invest in U.S. production lines for MicaSense multispectral sensors and its eBee VISION drone, with operations expected by May 2026. The company also sold two eBee VISION units to NATO’s Kosovo Force.
1. EagleNXT Establishes U.S. Drone Manufacturing Center in Texas
EagleNXT has announced the relocation of its global headquarters from Wichita, Kansas to a leased facility in Allen, Texas, positioning the site as a central hub for manufacturing and support functions. The company will invest in tooling, equipment and facility upgrades to establish U.S. production lines for its MicaSense multispectral sensors and the eBee VISION fixed-wing drone, complementing its existing Swiss drone assembly operation. The grand opening is scheduled for April 2026, with full production anticipated by May 2026. Key support teams—including engineering, customer support and marketing—will co-locate in Allen to streamline R&D cycles and accelerate product delivery to U.S. government and parapublic users, leveraging simplified domestic procurement processes under recent federal manufacturing initiatives.
2. Strategic Sales to NATO’s Kosovo Force Underscore Defense Market Traction
In a separate development, EagleNXT secured a contract to deliver two of its Blue UAS-cleared eBee VISION systems to NATO’s Kosovo Force (KFOR). Each system offers up to 90 minutes of flight endurance, a 12-mile wireless control range, AES-256 encryption and rapid three-minute deployment, tailored for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions. Compliance with the National Defense Authorization Act and U.S. Department of Defense certification enables expedited acquisition by allied partners. The sale reinforces EagleNXT’s position in defense markets, expanding its installed base beyond one million flights globally and enhancing interoperability in multinational operations.
