ETNETN

Eaton will report Q4 2025 earnings before the New York Stock Exchange opens on February 3, 2026, followed by an 11 a.m. ET conference call webcast. A replay and news release will be available via Eaton’s website on the Fourth Quarter 2025 Earnings Results link.

1. Recent Performance Setback

Over the past 12 months Eaton’s shares have slipped 5% after rising 170% over the prior five years, as revenue growth decelerated and missed consensus estimates. In the third quarter of fiscal 2025, organic sales growth slowed to 7% year-over-year, down from 8% in Q2, driven by softer demand in its core Electrical Americas division. Vehicle and eMobility sales contracted by 9% and 20%, respectively, while its higher-margin Aerospace and Electrical Global segments maintained mid-teens and high-single-digit organic growth rates.

2. Segment Analysis

Electrical Americas, which accounted for 49% of third-quarter sales, saw growth moderate to 9% as hyperscale data center customers shifted from capacity expansion to optimization. Electrical Global grew 8% on the strength of large government infrastructure contracts. Aerospace posted 13% organic growth, buoyed by new defense contracts and recurring service revenues. Conversely, the Vehicle segment fell 9% amid weak medium- and heavy-duty truck production, and the eMobility unit declined 20% on delayed EV programs and subdued consumer demand.

3. Forward Guidance and Outlook

For full-year 2025, Eaton forecasts organic sales growth of 8.5%–9.5%, segment margin expansion of 10–50 basis points, and adjusted EPS growth of 11%–13%. Analysts project roughly 12% EPS growth in both 2025 and 2026. The planned $9.5 billion acquisition of Boyd Thermal, which specializes in data center cooling solutions, alongside continued secular expansion in AI and cloud infrastructure, underpins management’s conviction that the company can outpace the S&P 500’s long-term average annual return of 10%.

4. Upcoming Q4 2025 Earnings Release

Eaton will report fourth-quarter 2025 results on February 3, 2026, before the NYSE opens, followed by an 11 a.m. Eastern conference call and live webcast accessible via the company’s website. Investors will focus on whether the Electrical Americas segment can regain momentum and if Automotive headwinds will persist, as well as any updates to full-year guidance amid volatile end-market conditions.
