The European Central Bank cut Deutsche Bank’s Pillar 2 solvency requirement by 25 basis points to 2.60%, effective January 1, 2027. The Pillar 2 leverage ratio requirement remains unchanged at 10 basis points.
As of June 30, 2026, Deutsche Bank’s consolidated capital ratios were significantly above prevailing supervisory requirements and the new thresholds. Breaching the thresholds would trigger calculations determining restrictions on dividends, new variable remuneration and Additional Tier 1 instrument coupon payments.
