ECB sets BBVA’s 2027 consolidated total capital requirement at 13.60%
BBVA•The ECB requires BBVA to maintain consolidated total capital and CET1 ratios of 13.6% and 9.36%, respectively, from January 1, 2027. Its individual-level minimums are 11.25% total capital and 7.75% CET1.
1. Capital requirements
From January 1, 2027, BBVA must maintain consolidated capital ratios of 13.6% total capital and 9.36% CET1. The requirements include a 1.7% Pillar 2 requirement, at least 0.96% of which must be met with CET1; individual-level minimums are 11.25% total capital and 7.75% CET1.
