EchoStar reconsolidates DISH DBS units after Chapter 11 exit
SATS•EchoStar’s DISH DBS filing entities exited Chapter 11 on Oct. 1, 2026, and will be reconsolidated into EchoStar’s financial statements on the plan’s effective date.
1. Restructuring takes effect
The DISH DBS filing entities exited Chapter 11 on Oct. 1, 2026. EchoStar said the entities will be reconsolidated into its financial statements on the plan’s effective date; they had been deconsolidated from its results as of June 30, 2026. Supplemental indentures were executed for DISH DBS senior secured and senior notes tied to the restructuring.
