Ecopetrol names Mónica Jiménez González legal affairs chief, general secretary
EC•Ecopetrol appointed Mónica Jiménez González corporate vice president of legal affairs and general secretary, alongside two other senior executives, effective no later than Oct. 6, 2026.

Ecopetrol named Mónica Jiménez González corporate vice president of legal affairs and general secretary. She was formerly GeoPark’s general counsel and chief strategy, sustainability and legal officer. Mauricio Gutiérrez was named corporate vice president of strategy and new business, and Camilo Rojas corporate vice president of administration and services; all appointments take effect no later than Oct. 6, 2026.
