Edgewise Therapeutics completed the sale of sevasemten and its muscular dystrophy business to Servier for USD 1.55 billion upfront.
The deal includes up to USD 1.1 billion in regulatory and commercial milestones, for total potential consideration of up to USD 2.65 billion.
The transaction shifts Edgewise to a cardiovascular focus; proceeds are expected to fund EDG-7500 development through potential approval.
A Phase 3 trial for EDG-7500 in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is expected to start in Q4 2026, and Phase 2 for EDG-15400 in HFpEF remains on track.
