Einride Engages TÜV SÜD for Independent Certification of Autonomous Safety Governance
LEGT•Einride has engaged TÜV SÜD to perform an independent assessment of its Safety Management System, evaluating process robustness against emerging global regulations. The certification will validate its autonomous freight governance model, potentially strengthening regulatory compliance as Einride expands operations across North America, Europe, and the Middle East.
1. Independent Assessment Launch
Einride has partnered with TÜV SÜD to conduct an evidence-based evaluation of its Safety Management System. The review will benchmark process robustness and maturity against emerging global regulations and industry standards, identifying strengths and improvement priorities for continuous safety governance.
2. Governance Model and Testing Protocols
The assessment will cover Einride’s living safety case framework, aligned with UL 4600, ISO 26262, and ISO 21448 standards. TÜV SÜD will examine change-management protocols, hazard analyses, and the hybrid autonomous drive stack’s validation through simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, proving-ground, and site acceptance testing.
3. Regulatory Compliance and Market Expansion
A formally certified Safety Management System will bolster Einride’s position in regulatory submissions as it scales autonomous freight operations across North America, Europe, and the Middle East. This milestone aligns with Einride’s planned NASDAQ listing under ENRD in Q2 2026, reinforcing investor confidence in its safety governance.
