Elbit Systems completes acquisition of Canada's ISE
ESLT•Elbit Systems completed its acquisition of Canada-based International Submarine Engineering (ISE). The purchase price was not material to the buyer.
1. Underwater capabilities
Vancouver-area ISE develops autonomous underwater vehicles, remotely operated vehicles and subsea robotics. Elbit said the acquisition is intended to expand its underwater intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, mine countermeasures and anti-submarine warfare capabilities. ISE has over 50 years of subsea robotics experience and has delivered over 250 underwater vehicles to customers in more than 20 countries.
