ESLT•The event supports plans to pursue German production, with Diehl set to handle local manufacturing, integration, and qualification if programs are awarded.
Elbit Systems disclosed successful live test results for its SkyStriker loitering munition with Diehl Defence in early September 2026.
The demonstration validated long-range endurance, including an 80 km “hand-over” function, autonomous target detection, tracking, and precision engagement.
The system showed canister launch capability, then reconnaissance-to-strike execution, supporting integration into ISR networks via cooperation with SkyLark 1 eVTOL.
SkyStriker was described as electric-powered, with range above 200 km, loiter time above two hours, and low acoustic and thermal signature.
