Elicio opens Phase 1 neoadjuvant ELI-002 7P trial in resectable pancreatic cancer at MSK
ELTX•Phase 1 neoadjuvant trial opens at Memorial Sloan Kettering
Elicio opened an investigator-initiated Phase 1 neoadjuvant trial of ELI-002 7P in resectable or borderline resectable KRAS-mutant pancreatic cancer.
The study is being run by Memorial Sloan Kettering and funded by The Lustgarten Foundation with Break Through Cancer, with planned enrollment of 20 patients.
The design tests ELI-002 7P with mFOLFIRINOX, with or without anti-PD-1 tislelizumab, starting before surgery and continuing after surgery.
No new results were presented; the trial is intended to assess immune activation and the potential to improve surgical outcomes and long-term survival.
The program builds on prior observations of complete responses in metastatic pancreatic cancer patients treated sequentially with ELI-002 7P, checkpoint inhibition, and chemotherapy.
