Elutia completes sale of SimpliDerm business to Cellution Biologics for up to $11 million cash
ELUT•Proceeds to support NXT-41x development
Elutia said the proceeds bolster cash resources to support development and commercialization of NXT-41x, with FDA clearance expected in the first half of 2027.
The company expects the funding to cover operations through the first full year of NXT-41x’s commercial launch in 2028.
SimpliDerm business sold for cash and milestones
Elutia sold its SimpliDerm human acellular dermal matrix business to Cellution Biologics for up to $11 million.
The consideration includes $8 million paid at closing, subject to customary inventory and transaction-expense adjustments, and up to $3 million in contingent milestone payments over the next 18 months.
