Embraer Q1 revenue surges 31% to $1.45B, backlog hits $32.1B record

Embraer reported 1Q26 revenues of US$1,447 million, a 31% year-over-year increase and its highest ever first-quarter result, with adjusted EBIT of US$94 million and a 6.5% margin. Deliveries rose 47% to 44 aircraft while a record US$32.1 billion backlog, up over 20%, underpins reiterated full-year guidance.

1. Financial Results

Embraer achieved US$1,447 million in revenues during 1Q26, marking a 31% increase year-over-year and its highest first-quarter performance. Adjusted EBIT reached US$94.0 million, translating to a 6.5% margin, with US$13 million of U.S. import tariffs and US$11 million of inventory costs recorded.

2. Deliveries Performance

The company delivered 44 aircraft in the quarter, up 47% from 30 units a year earlier. This included 10 commercial jets (4 E2s, 6 E1s), 29 executive jets (16 small, 13 medium), and 5 defense aircraft (1 KC-390 Millennium, 4 A-29 Super Tucano).

3. Backlog and Orders

Firm order backlog reached an all-time high of US$32.1 billion in 1Q26, more than 20% above the prior year. Commercial Aviation posted a 3.0x LTM book-to-bill on E175 and E2 platforms, driving a 50% year-over-year increase in backlog.

4. Guidance

Embraer reiterated its full-year targets of 80–85 commercial and 160–170 executive aviation deliveries, US$8.2–8.5 billion in revenues, an adjusted EBIT margin of 8.7%–9.3%, and adjusted free cash flow (excluding Eve) of at least US$200 million despite ongoing tariff headwinds.
