She brings over 30 years of legal, regulatory and governance experience from senior roles at Apple, Meta and various U.S. government agencies.
2. Q2 Financial Results and Dividend
For the quarter ended March 31, Emerson reported net sales of $4,562 million, up 3% year-over-year, and pretax earnings of $793 million, marking a 17.4% margin (320 bps improvement). Adjusted earnings per share rose to $1.54 and the board approved a $0.555 quarterly cash dividend payable June 10 to holders of record May 15.

Emerson forecasts third-quarter net sales growth of approximately 5.5% and full-year 2026 adjusted EPS of $6.45–$6.55, targeting $4.0–$4.1 billion in operating cash flow. Capital allocation for 2026 assumes about $1.0 billion in share repurchases and $1.2 billion in dividends.
