The ceremony brought together New York New Jersey Host Committee CEOs, U.S. Soccer, Canada Soccer, Mexican Football Federation leaders and the tournament mascots Maple, Zayu and Clutch.
2. Observatory Experience Upgrade
ESRT completed a $165 million overhaul of the Observatory Experience, introducing a dedicated guest entrance, nine interactive museum galleries and a redesigned 102nd Floor Observatory with floor-to-ceiling windows. 3. Anticipated World Cup Impact
The New York New Jersey region is slated to host multiple FIFA World Cup 2026 matches, including the final at MetLife Stadium. ESRT expects a surge in international visitors to its 86th and 102nd floor observation decks, driving higher ticket revenue and ancillary spending.

Since 2011, the Empire State Building has been fully powered by renewable wind energy, lowering operating costs and supporting ESG goals. The building also houses key office tenants such as LinkedIn and Shutterstock, alongside retail outlets including STATE Grill and Bar, Tacombi and Starbucks.
