Today Encompass Health opened its new 50-bed, 66,000-square-foot inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Concordville, Pennsylvania, now accepting patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations and complex orthopedic conditions.
2. Services and Amenities
The two-story, freestanding hospital features all-private rooms; two advanced therapy gyms; an activities of daily living suite; an in-house dialysis suite; pharmacy; landscaped therapy courtyard; dining room; and multiple dayrooms, with patients receiving at least three hours of intensive therapy and 24-hour nursing care.
3. Strategic Expansion
This facility is Encompass Health’s 10th hospital in Pennsylvania and adds to its national network of 175 hospitals, with a 11th Pennsylvania location planned to open later this year in Lower Providence.
